Reviews:
Show Mag’s Ben Miles was impressed with Matinicus:
“What’s more, the timing and pacing of this not-so-weathered tale about of a once-in-a-century storm is greatly aided by the indispensable sound design of Oscar Garcia, scenic/lighting and period perfect costume designs by Cris Quick, as well as the historic accuracy ensured by the meticulous dramaturgy credited to Jenny Jacobs.”
Stage Raw’s G. Bruce Smith thought Matinicus: The Story of Abigail Burgess was a “delightful evening of theater”!
“This world premiere, one-woman show based on a true story, everything from the acting, directing and set, lighting and sound design all work together seamlessly to create a less-is-more, outstanding theatrical experience.”
“Cris Quick’s scenic and lighting design are beautifully simple”
